Rajasthan is the largest state in India by area, and much of it is defined by the Thar, the great desert of the north-west, where cities grew up as caravan halts and princely capitals rather than around rivers. Its history runs through the old kingdoms, Marwar around Jodhpur, Mewar around Udaipur, the Kachhwaha country around Jaipur and Amber, and the desert seats of Bikaner and Jaisalmer, whose forts and havelis still stand over the modern towns. Ajmer, with the dargah of Moinuddin Chishti, and the lake town of Pushkar draw pilgrims from across the country.

Those old regions still shape family identity and marriage. A Marwari family from Jodhpur, a Mewari family from Udaipur, and a family from the Jaipur belt carry different dialects, customs, and marriage traditions even when they belong to the same wider community. Rajasthan is also the source of one of India’s most widespread mercantile diasporas: families rooted in Marwar and Shekhawati who, over generations, settled in Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and across the country while keeping ties, festivals, and marriage networks running back to the desert. The real difficulty for serious Rajasthani families is rarely a shortage of profiles. It is trust, and finding genuinely compatible people who share a family’s region, community, and values. To the west lies Marwar, whose historic capital Jodhpur, the Blue City, stands below the Mehrangarh Fort, and further west the desert seats of Bikaner, founded by Rao Bika in the fifteenth century, and Jaisalmer. Southward, Mewar centres on Udaipur, known for its lakes and palaces, near the great hill forts of Chittorgarh and Kumbhalgarh.

Kota, on the Chambal in the south-east, is a major educational and industrial city, and Ajmer, with the Chishti dargah and neighbouring Pushkar, sits near the centre of the state. Each region carries its own marriage customs and dialect, and many families keep ties to relatives who left the desert generations ago for trade elsewhere in India. How it works

Most Rajasthani families begin with relatives, community elders, a traditional go-between, and a few apps full of unverified profiles. Across a state this large and a diaspora this scattered, that mix produces a great deal of effort and very few genuinely suitable introductions, especially when a family wants a match rooted in its own region and community.

Evara starts with a conversation rather than a form. We sit with your family to understand your region and community, whether specific customs apply, dietary and lifestyle preferences, the cities and regions you are open to, and the things that quietly decide compatibility for you. A matchmaker then presents a small number of curated introductions, each with our reasoning, and coordinates meetings when interest is mutual. Because we do not keep an office in every city of Rajasthan, we work with most families over video and in person when we travel, and we arrange family meetings at a venue that suits both sides. Distance shapes the logistics of a meeting, never the care we bring to the match.

Matches are chosen for you and a small set arrives each day. Every profile is verified before it goes live, and its photos are approved by a person. Nobody is assigned to your family. Lifetime membership is a single one-time payment with no renewals. Membership does not include a matchmaker, and the membership page sets out what selection involves and what the Select and Reserve tiers add. Is a matchmaker included.

Select from ₹51,000 for 6 months (also ₹75,000 for 12 months or ₹1,00,000 until married)

Reserve is ₹2,51,000 in total, in two parts, with the second part due at a Roka with a family Evara introduced. Luxe is by invitation.

A named relationship manager learns your family, chooses each introduction by hand, gives you the reasoning for it, and is with you at family meetings in Delhi NCR, and on video call across India. Select is the first of these services and Reserve is the senior service above it. Each is bought separately, from the other and from membership.
