This page is written for the parent who is doing the looking, and for the son or daughter the search is for. You can sit with us in Pitampura, or speak to us on the phone or over video if crossing the city on a working day is not realistic. Where a family lives changes how a meeting is arranged. It does not change whether we can help.
The limits are worth stating in the same breath as the offer. There is exactly one office. We do not keep a branch in another city and we do not put a local agent in a colony near you. Searches for Delhi families, for families elsewhere in India, and for families settled abroad are all run from that one desk. We work in Hindi and English.
Two routes, and what each one asks of you
The difference between them is who does the choosing. On membership the matching is algorithmic and a person checks each profile. On the matchmaker led services a named person reads your family and picks every introduction herself.
Matches are chosen for you and a small set arrives each day. Every profile is checked by a person before it appears. Nobody is assigned to your family. Lifetime is the same service bought once instead of monthly. Membership does not include a matchmaker, and the membership page sets out what selection involves and what the Select and Reserve tiers add. Is a matchmaker included. What happens first, second and third
First, a conversation, and it costs nothing. You call the office, or you leave an enquiry and we will call you. Evara starts with a conversation, not a form. We sit with your family to understand community, whether specific customs apply, dietary and lifestyle preferences, the zones and cities you are open to, career expectations, and the harder-to-name things that decide compatibility for you. Most of that first conversation is us listening. Nothing is charged for it and you are not asked for a card.
Second, you choose the route, and you choose it knowing what both cost. The question that decides it is whether your search needs a person on it. If it does not, membership does the work for a small fraction of the price. Membership begins once the profile is complete and paid for, and the matches chosen for you start arriving from there. A matchmaker led service begins on the day it is bought, because it is paid from day one, and that payment is what puts a named person on your file.
Third, the work. On membership the daily matches are chosen for you from profiles our team has reviewed, and you say yes or no to each one. On a matchmaker led service a matchmaker chooses each introduction by hand and presents a small number of them, each with our reasoning for why this family could work for yours. When interest is mutual, we coordinate the meeting, the venue, and the follow-up conversations. A South Delhi family with a daughter in a corporate career and a West Delhi business family often want different things, and we plan for that from the first meeting.
One honest note on logistics. There is no booking calendar on this site and no slot for you to reserve. You speak to a person, and the time to come in is agreed between you on that call. Visits to the office are by appointment only, which is why there is a number to ring rather than a calendar to click.

What the photo check does, and what it does not
An automated photo check compares the photographs on a profile, and our team reviews anything the check cannot clear. What it establishes is photo consistency. That is a real thing to establish and it is worth having.
It is not proof of identity, and it verifies nothing that a family has written on a biodata. Not age. Not income. Not education. Not marital status. Not community, and not gotra. We would rather put that in plain words here than let a family in Delhi assume a mark on a profile means more than it does. Ask for documents at the stage your family would normally ask for them, and read them yourself. The detail of what the check covers is set out on the profile verification page, and it is short enough to read in a sitting.
On privacy, the reason it matters here is specific to the city. Community circles in Delhi overlap tightly, and a family in Punjabi Bagh or Greater Kailash often knows the family three doors down and the family their cousin married into. A search that becomes common knowledge before it has gone anywhere costs a daughter or a son something real. So nothing about your search is public on Evara.
In practice that means the profile lives inside the platform and is not published to the open web. You can show a short version of it, with first name, age, city, religion and community, and keep your photographs and the rest of the detail closed until both sides have shown interest. Phone numbers and email addresses pass between two families after that mutual interest, not before it.
The questions families actually ask us
What does assistance cost, and when do we pay?+
The first conversation is free and there is nothing to pay to join. Membership is charged monthly, with a lower cost per month on the three, six and twelve month terms, and a lifetime option that is a single payment and never renews. Every one of those figures is on the membership page. Select and Reserve are the matchmaker led services: they are bought separately from membership and paid from day one, and Luxe is by invitation. The published ladder is the same for every family, wherever in the country they live.
How is a consultation run, and do we have to come to the office?+
The first conversation costs nothing and can happen at the office, on the phone, or over video. Most of it is us listening: who the search is for, your community and any customs that must be respected, the zones and cities you would consider, and the things you are not willing to compromise on. You leave it knowing which route we think fits, membership or a matchmaker led service, and what each one costs. You are not asked for a card. If you do want to come in, the office is by appointment, so call us and the time is agreed on that call.
Where is your Delhi office?+
Our office is at 117, 1st Floor, NDM-1, Netaji Subhash Place, Pitampura, in North Delhi. Families across the capital can meet us there in person, and we also work over video and arrange family meetings at a venue convenient for both sides across Delhi and the wider NCR.
We live in Rohini. Is Pitampura the only place we can meet you?+
It is the only office, and it is in Pitampura, the neighbouring part of North Delhi. It is not the only way to work with us. Families across the capital run the whole search on the phone and over video and come in only when they want to, and when two families are ready to meet each other we arrange that meeting at a venue that suits both sides rather than at our desk. Where you live shapes the logistics. It does not shape the search.
Does the whole family have to be involved?+
That is your decision, and it can change as you go. Some families send one parent to the first conversation and bring the son or daughter in later. Others come together from the start. There is no family login and no separate family account, so what you share at home, and when, stays with you. On a matchmaker led service the matchmaker will want to understand the family properly, because reading the family is what that service is. On membership the matches arrive whether or not anyone else is in the room.
How long does this take?+
We will not put a number on it, and you should be careful with anyone who does. What we can describe is what sits in your hands: a complete profile, a clear brief, and a family that gives a real answer when an introduction is put in front of it. On membership matches are chosen for you and arrive each day. On a matchmaker led service the introductions are fewer, chosen by hand, and each one comes with the reasoning behind it.
What happens if we do not find a match?+
All payments are final and non-refundable. That includes unused periods, voluntary cancellation, and the case where you do not find a match. Duplicate charges, failed transactions and amounts charged in error are refunded to the original method. That is the whole of the position and it is set out on the Payment Terms page. We would much rather your family read it before paying than after. Evara promises no outcome, and the refund rule that follows from it is on the payment terms page. If no match is found.
Does membership renew, and how do we stop it?+
A monthly membership renews until you turn renewal off. The three, six and twelve month terms do not renew, and neither does lifetime. If you turn renewal off, your membership stays open until the end of the term you have already paid for, and it ends there.
Which parts of Delhi do you serve?+
All of it. We serve South Delhi, West Delhi, North Delhi, East Delhi, Central Delhi, and the old city, as well as the wider National Capital Region. Where a family lives shapes the logistics of meetings, not whether we can help.
Do you match within a specific community?+
Yes. Delhi holds Punjabi, Aggarwal, Baniya, Jain, Brahmin, Khatri, Marwari, and many other communities. We match strictly within a community when a family wishes, taking custom into account, or across communities when a family is open to it.
Can you match a Delhi family with someone in another NCR city or another state?+
Very often, yes. Delhi families regularly match into Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad, and Ghaziabad, and many want a match from their home city or state. We match across the whole region, back to your home region, and with the diaspora abroad.
How do you protect our privacy in Delhi’s close community circles?+
Nothing about your search is public on Evara. Your profile is shown to other Evara members, and not to the public or to search engines. In a city where community and social circles overlap, that discretion is central to how we work.
We moved to Delhi from another state. Can you match us within our home community?+
Yes, and it is one of the most common briefs we handle in the capital. Delhi has grown for generations on migration, from Partition-era Punjabi families to more recent arrivals from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, and the south. Many families settled here want a match who shares their home community and language while living in the NCR, and others are open to a match rooted in Delhi. We establish exactly where your family sits and search accordingly, in Delhi, back in your home state, or both.

Across every zone of Delhi
South Delhi, from Greater Kailash, Defence Colony, and Hauz Khas to Vasant Vihar and the Lutyens bungalow zone, holds established families, professionals, and much of the city’s old money and diplomatic life. West Delhi, with Rajouri Garden, Punjabi Bagh, Tilak Nagar, and Janakpuri, is the heart of the Punjabi capital that grew out of Partition resettlement, with strong Hindu Punjabi and Sikh networks.
North Delhi runs from the old city and Civil Lines out to Model Town, Ashok Vihar, and Pitampura, where our office sits, mixing long-settled families with newer professional households. East Delhi and the trans-Yamuna areas, Preet Vihar, Mayur Vihar, and beyond, are younger and more mixed, home to many families who came to Delhi from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and elsewhere. And the old city itself, around Chandni Chowk, remains the base of trading families whose businesses and marriages have run through the same community for generations.

A capital assembled from arrivals
Delhi is administered as the National Capital Territory, with New Delhi inside it as the capital of India, and it held about 16.8 million people at the 2011 Census. Almost none of that is one settled population. Shahjahanabad, the walled city Shah Jahan founded in the seventeenth century around Chandni Chowk, the Jama Masjid and the Red Fort, still holds trading families whose marriages have run inside the same community for generations. Lutyens and Baker laid out New Delhi to its south and it was inaugurated as the capital in 1931, and the households of that zone were assembled by service and office rather than by trade.
Then 1947 rewrote the city. Partition brought a large influx of Punjabi Hindu and Sikh refugees who resettled across Delhi, and the West Delhi colonies that grew out of that resettlement are part of why Punjabi is a second official language of Delhi today, alongside Urdu and Hindi, under the Delhi Official Language Act of 2000. Later arrivals from Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan and the south filled the trans-Yamuna colonies and the outer ring. A great many families here are therefore two things at once: settled in the capital, and rooted in a home community somewhere else.
That is the practical reason a brief taken in this city is rarely only about this city. The Metro, one of the largest networks in the world by length, ties the territory to Gurugram, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad, so a match one district away is an ordinary domestic arrangement rather than a move. Indira Gandhi International, among the busiest airports in the world by passenger traffic, does the same job for the families whose children are abroad.
