No. Membership does not include a matchmaker, and nobody is assigned to your family. A dedicated matchmaker is what Select and Reserve buy.

- Every profile you are shown, free or paid, is verified before it goes live, and its photos are approved by a person. That approval is not a matchmaker, and no member of staff chooses your introductions on membership, which is the work Select and Reserve are sold to do.
- Select includes a dedicated relationship manager for your family. Reserve adds a senior relationship manager who verifies every family personally, and our team involved at every step, through to a confirmed Roka. Select and Reserve, the two personalised matchmaking tiers, are priced separately.

A monthly membership renews until you turn it off. The 3, 6 and 12 month terms and lifetime do not renew. Already a member? Your rate is locked for as long as your membership stays active. Our pricing rises as the community grows.

Can I start without paying?
Yes. Joining Evara is free, and it stays free.
When am I charged, and does my membership renew?
You are charged in the portal when you buy. A monthly membership renews every month until you turn renewal off. The 3, 6 and 12 month terms and lifetime do not renew. All listed prices include 18% GST.
Is there a limit on matches or on interests?
Your matches arrive as a set each morning at 10, chosen for you. There is an allowance for the interests you start each day, and it refreshes with your matches the next morning. Paid membership raises that daily allowance. There is no limit on the interests other people send you, and once you and another member have matched there is no limit on the messages between you. Showing interest back in someone who approached you does come out of your own allowance. We do not print the numbers, because they are not the same for every member and any single figure here would be wrong for some families. You can always see your own in your account.
Is my information kept private?
Your profile is shown to other Evara members, and not to the public or to search engines. A member has to pass our photo check before their profile can be shown, and before any profile is shown to them. You can choose to show a short version of your profile, with your first name, age, city, religion and community, and keep your photos and the rest of your details hidden until you and the other member have both shown interest. Chat opens when you both say yes. Evara does not reveal a member’s email address, and a member’s phone number reaches another member only when both have said yes and its owner has chosen to share it. You can close your account yourself from your account settings, and our privacy policy sets out your rights over your data, including erasure.
Can I cancel or get a refund?
Turn off renewal whenever you want to stop, and your membership stays open to the end of the term you have paid for. Evara's published fees are not refundable, including unused time, apart from the payment errors named in the policy and your rights in law. A duplicate charge, a wrong payment or a payment taken without access granted can be reported to the team. Read the complete policy.

Which duration should I choose?
Choose one month for the smallest first payment, three or six months for a shorter fixed term, or twelve months for the lowest monthly equivalent. Lifetime is a single one-time payment with no renewals. Every paid duration carries the same membership features, so the only question is how long you want.

Joining Evara is free, and it stays free. Membership is ₹999 a month, against the standard ₹2,999. It renews automatically each month until you turn renewal off. Already a member? How are profiles verified?
Every profile is verified before it goes live, and its photos are approved by a person. The selfie check is required to appear; it confirms the person matches their own photos and is not proof of identity. ID, video and income checks are optional. We screen for misuse and remove profiles that break our rules. Verification lowers the risk. It is not a guarantee of any member's identity, intentions or information. Is finding a match or marriage guaranteed?
No. Membership gives you access to the people we match you with and to the introductions you start. Whether a reply, a meeting or a marriage follows is a mutual choice, and it belongs to the two families. A longer term is more time and more access, and it is not a promise about the outcome.
Can a parent or another family member help with the search?
Yes. Families are part of how matchmaking works here. If you are helping someone, complete the profile accurately, with their knowledge and their agreement, and keep their own preferences at the centre of the search. Ask us how to set up the account for the way your family wants to be involved.
Can I join from outside India?
Yes. Evara serves Indian families in India and overseas. If you need a particular city, community or relocation preference, talk to us about availability before you commit to a long term. Membership does not promise a minimum number of suitable people inside your criteria.

Who runs Evara?
Evara is the matrimony practice of a Delhi matchmaking business established in 2012, and IW Services and Matrimonial Pvt. Ltd., the company named at the foot of this page, was incorporated in 2023 to run it. That is why the footer carries a 2023 company number beside a practice that is older than it. The client figure counts the people the practice has served between 2012 and 2026, across all of its services, and not members of this online membership alone. Evara is run by the same team that has matched families from its Delhi office since 2012, for families across India and for Indian families abroad. When you ask for help, Anuradha Ghosh, Senior Relationship Manager, is the person who calls, Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 7 PM IST, in Hindi or English. A check lowers the risk and does not remove it. Take your time with a person, and confirm what matters to your family yourself.
What is Luxe?
Luxe is our private, invitation only service, arranged entirely in person for a very small circle of families. It is never sold or priced online. Everything is discussed privately.

Are matches chosen on basic details only, or on what we are actually looking for?
We choose your matches for you, and they arrive each morning. We read the practical facts: age, where you live, where your family is from, marital status, height, diet, and what you have told us you are looking for. We also read what the other family said they were looking for, so an introduction has to make sense both ways. Religion and community are used to narrow your matches when you have asked us to use them, and they are never used to rank one person above another. Education and profession are on your profile for families to read, and they are not part of how a match is chosen. We do not match on personality or temperament, because we do not hold that about anybody. No photograph appears on Evara until a person has approved it, and no profile is shown without one.
Is Personalised matchmaking the same thing as membership?
No. On membership your matches are chosen for you and arrive each day, with no dedicated matchmaker attached to your family. Select, Reserve and Luxe are the Personalised matchmaking tiers, bought separately, where a dedicated matchmaker curates every introduction and coordinates each meeting. Membership does not include one of those tiers and does not enter you into one. They are bought, and no membership, free or paid, turns into one on its own. A family who buys one is looked after privately, and their profile is taken out of what other members are shown. Nothing about you leaves Evara. Your profile is shown to Evara members and not to the public or to search engines. Evara does not reveal a member’s email address, and a member’s phone number reaches another member only when both have said yes and its owner has chosen to share it.
