Ahmedabad is one of India’s oldest continuously inhabited cities, founded in 1411 by Sultan Ahmad Shah I on the banks of the Sabarmati. Six centuries later its walled heart, with its carved wooden houses and the tight residential clusters called pols, was inscribed as India’s first UNESCO World Heritage City. The same river that runs past the old city also carries the memory of the Sabarmati Ashram, where Mahatma Gandhi lived and from where the Dandi march set out in 1930.

The city grew wealthy on cotton, earning the name Manchester of India, and that long history of trade and enterprise shaped its families. How it works

A settled family in the old city and a young professional household on SG Highway often want different things, and we plan for that from the first meeting.

From there membership matches are chosen around your preferences and arrive each day, and on Select or Reserve a dedicated matchmaker presents a small number of introductions, each with our reasoning for why this family could suit yours. When interest is mutual, we coordinate the meeting, the venue, and the conversations that follow, whether both families are in Ahmedabad or one is abroad. A family may wish to marry within a specific samaj or sub-group, may observe particular Jain dietary and ritual customs, or may be open across communities entirely. Areas we serve

The walled old city, east of the Sabarmati around Manek Chowk and the pols, remains the base of long-settled trading and community families whose homes and businesses have run through the same lanes for generations. Across the river, Navrangpura, Ellisbridge, and Ashram Road hold established professional households and much of the city’s institutional life, close to the campuses and offices of central Ahmedabad.

To the west, Satellite, Bodakdev, Vastrapur, and the SG Highway corridor have grown into the modern city, home to newer professional and business families and much of its recent development. Gandhinagar, the state capital about twenty-three kilometres north, and the townships along the highway between the two cities, add government and institutional households to the mix. We serve families across all of it, and coordinate family meetings at a venue that suits both sides. Where a family lives shapes the logistics of a meeting, never the care we bring to the match.
